Hamayaki Beach BBQ at Matsukawa-ura Lagoon, Soma City: Ten whole fish on skewers over burning hot charcoal. The skewers have been poked into some shell-filled gravel-like sand from the beach. The gravel is in a metal BBQ contraption, with a central cavity for the charcoal. Five fish skewers have been placed on either side of the charcoal and into the gravel at an angle so they are facing the fire.
